Lake of the Ozarks E-Coli Task Force Update Members from the Bagnell Dam Association of REALTORS® and Lake of the Ozarks Board of REALTORS® E-coli task force met this morning, along with Mike Kenadgy, Executive Director for the Lake West Chamber of Commerce, Bill Johnson, Chairman of the Tri-County Lodging Association, and Jim Gaughan and Mary Glassburn from the Department of Health and Senior Services. Representatives from each organization agreed that the best information that we can put out to the public right now is the information available at www.lakewaterquality.org, which provides information from various experts about the water quality at Lake of the Ozarks.We are also encouraging all of our members and affiliates to include the link above on their own websites. This information needs to be distributed to as many people as possible. Karie Jacobs, President of the Bagnell Dam Association of REALTORS® E-coli task force, are also in the process of scheduling a conference call with Sam Licklider, our lobbyist with MAR, to alert him of the situation with the E-coli reports and utilize his position as much as possible. There is going to be a special report tonight on KOMU Channel 8 (satellite) and Channel 7 (Charter Cable) about septic systems at the Lake of the Ozarks and E-coli.
